The deal, in plain language.

What slew provides

A platform that builds and hosts your projects, gives them URLs and TLS certificates, reports traffic statistics, and optionally routes AI requests to EU-hosted models. Your plan sets how many projects, custom domains and kept-ready server apps you can hold at once, and a monthly bandwidth allowance.

Bandwidth allowances are monitored rather than metered. Going over does not trigger an automatic charge and does not shut your sites off — if you are consistently over, you'll get an email about moving to a plan that fits.

What you're responsible for

The content you deploy, and having the right to deploy it. Keep your account secure — deploys made with your credentials are treated as yours. Don't use slew to host malware, phishing pages, or anything illegal where the servers are, and don't use it as a general-purpose file host or a way to route abusive traffic.

If something you host causes a problem for the platform or for other customers — an attack, a runaway process, a takedown notice — I may suspend that project and will tell you why. Where there's any choice in the matter you'll hear from me before anything is turned off.

Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in euros, exclusive of VAT, by iDEAL or card. Yearly billing and invoicing are available on request. Prices listed are the prices charged; there is no seat fee and no usage meter.

If a payment fails, your projects keep running while I try again and email you. Nothing gets deleted over a failed payment without warning you first.

Prices for existing subscriptions are not raised. If the list price changes, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as the subscription stays active.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the dashboard, with no notice period and no need to ask. Your projects keep serving until the end of the period you've paid for. There are no refunds for partial months, and no cancellation fee.

After cancellation your account drops to the free plan's limits. Nothing is deleted immediately — you'll be told what exceeds the free limits and given time to export or move it.

Getting your things out

Your repository stays the source of truth and builds are ordinary static files or ordinary Node — there is no proprietary format holding anything hostage. You can move to another platform by pointing your build at it, and I'd rather help you leave cleanly than have you stuck.

Uptime and reality

slew is run by one person and does not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. What it offers instead: deploys are health-gated so a broken build doesn't take traffic, platform data is backed up every six hours to encrypted off-site EU storage, and the restore procedure has been performed and timed rather than assumed. If something breaks you can reach the person who can fix it, usually the same working day.

I run my own sites on the same infrastructure, which is the strongest incentive available. But treat that as an honest description of a small platform, not a service level agreement. If you need a contractual SLA, email me and we'll talk about what's realistic.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that affects you, you'll get an email before it takes effect — not a silently updated page with a new date on it. Continuing to use slew after that means you accept the change; if you don't, cancel and you'll be refunded any period you've paid for beyond the change.
