Questions people actually ask
- What counts as a project?
- One deployable thing — a site, an app, a client build. Preview deploys from pull requests do not count against it, and neither do share links.
- What does "kept ready" mean?
- A server app that is kept ready answers immediately. Other deployed server apps still work, but the first request after a period of idleness has to wake them, which takes longer. Static sites are always instant and never count here.
- My app needs more memory or CPU. Can I get a bigger runtime?
- Yes. Every server app runs on 512 MB and 1 vCPU. A Boost gives one app 2 GB and 2 vCPUs for €15 per month, on any paid plan — email hello@slew.sh and it's on the same day.
- What happens if I go over my bandwidth?
- Nothing automatic. Allowances are monitored, not metered — you won't get a surprise invoice and your site won't be cut off. If you are consistently over, I'll email you about moving to the right plan.
- Do you charge per team member?
- No. Organizations include your whole team on every paid plan. There are no seat fees at any size, which is usually where platform bills stop being predictable.
- How does the AI gateway get billed?
- Each plan includes a small monthly allowance of gateway usage. It is optional — if you never call the endpoint, you never see it on the bill. Usage beyond the allowance is charged at cost plus a small margin, and you can cap it.
- Can I pay yearly, or by invoice?
- Yes to both — email hello@slew.sh and I'll set it up. Yearly is two months off. Agencies invoicing clients can get a single monthly invoice covering everything.
- What if I need more than the Studio plan?
- Email me. If you're running more than a hundred projects I'd rather talk about what you actually need than sell you a tier that doesn't fit.
- How do I cancel?
- One click in the dashboard, any time, no email required and no exit interview. Your projects keep running until the end of the period you paid for.
